Philadelphia 76ers History is full excitements. The late Johnny Most endeared himself to Boston Celtics fans with his classic radio calls of most of the team's titles. He is best remembered not for a championship call, however, but for his exuberance at the end of Game 7 of the 1965 Eastern Conference Finals. Boston led, 76ers Philadelphia Schedule available, 110-109, but the 76ers had a chance to win as they prepared to inbound the ball from under the basket with five seconds remaining. Their hopes were dashed when John Havlicek stole guard Hal Greer's pass-intended for Chet Walker-and passed to Sam Jones, allowing the Celtics to run out the clock.Or, as Most described it: "Greer is putting the ball into play. He gets it out deep Havlicek steals it. Over to Sam Jones. Havlicek stole the ball! It's all over. Johnny Havlicek stole the ball!" The Celtics went on to win their seventh straight NBA championship.
