1995 - Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars participated in the expansion draft on February 15.
1995 - Quarterback Kerry Collins of Penn State became the first player draft by the Panthers.
1995 - The Panthers lost their first regular season game to Atlanta 23-20 in overtime on September 3.
1995 - The Panthers beat the New York Jets 26-15 on October 15 for the franchise's first victory.
