SAN FRANCISCO ---One year ago, Cody De Mers left the Cow Palace after Sunday's finals dissatisfied that he wasn't going to fulfill his goal of qualifying for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR). If You're looking for good 2005 Grand National Rodeo Tickets, we provide them and there information. De Mers was eligible for the finals in the Grand National Rodeo bareback riding. He was in location to move into the top 15 in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Jack Daniel's World Standings and qualify for the NFR. Unfortunately for De Mers, Flying U Rodeo Company's Samantha Snuff took him off. De Mers missed the NFR by $1,500, a quantity he could have with no trouble won here. If You're looking for good 2005 Grand National Rodeo Tickets, we provide them all.
This year's Grand National Rodeo was much superior to De Mers. He won a check in the first round of rivalry, won the finals and the bareback riding title. He made an exceptional effort on the Big Bend Rodeo Company horse named Nez Perce in the finals. His take-home pay here totaled more than $4,062. Preceding to this rodeo, he was ranked 12th in the world standings. The money he won here will likely move him up and protect him a trip to Las Vegas. There is just one more week left in the standard rodeo season. And, even though that week includes the $500,000 Pace Picante Rodeo Classic in Dallas, there are only four contenders that are eligible for that event that can move De Mers down in the standings. "To say that San Francisco went improved for me this year than last is an understatement," De Mers said. "I came in here in a better place than I did last year. That horse was exceptional. A lot can happen in the next week, but I'm feeling a lot better about my odds."Zack Brown from Yorba Linda, Calif., was in a very similar position to De Mers. Brown was ranked 13th in the bull riding standings before this rodeo. He won the title after riding the Flying U Rodeo Company bull named Red Thunder for 90 points. He had a sum of 177 points on two rides and won more than $8,000. Brown, who qualified for last year's NFR is now in a well again position to make the trip this year.
"This rodeo was significant for me," Brown said. "I've been dreaming about riding bulls at the finals. This put me one step quicker and took a lot of pressure off." If You're looking for good 2005 Grand National Rodeo Tickets, we provide them and there information. In the team roping, Michael Jones, from Stephenville, Texas and Chad Masters, from Adams, Tenn., won the title. This year's Grand National Rodeo had total award money of $184,303.
