US Open Tennis Tickets

The US Open Tennis is the fourth and final event of the Grand Slam in tennis. It is held every year in August/September and the main tournament consists of five championships This main event was there for the selling of the US Open Tennis Tickets: men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles, with added tournaments for junior and senior players. Since 1978, the US Open Tennis tournament has been  at the USTA National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows in Queens, New York.The US Open Tennis grew from entertainment event by the selling of the US Open Tennis Tickets for the high society to a $16 million prize money championship for over 600 male and female professional players. The US Open Tennis originates from two separate tournaments: the men's tournament and the women's tournament. The event of the US Open Tennis was first held in August 1881 where lots of US Open Tennis Tickets and staged at the Newport Casino, Newport, Rhode Island (men's singles only). The championships of the US Open Tennis were known as the U.S. National Singles Championship for men. Only clubs that were members of the United States National Lawn Tennis Association were allowed to enter. In 1900, U.S. National Men's Doubles Championship was there for the first time where selling US Open Tennis Tickets took good amount. The US Open Tennis Tournaments were held in the east and the west of the USA in order to determine the best two teams (sectional winners). These would then compete in a play-off - the winner would play the defending champions in the challenge round. Six years after the men's nationals were held, the first official U.S. Women's National Singles Championship was held at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in 1887, followed by the U.S. Women's National Doubles Championship in 1889. The first Mixed Doubles Championship was held along side the Women's Singles and Doubles in the US Open Tennis.

The US Open Tennis Era began in 1968 when all five events were combined into the newly named US Open Tennis at the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, Queens, New York where there where US Open Tennis Tickets to be sold. Notably, the 1968 combined US Open Tennis tournament was opened to professionals; neither predecessor tournament allowed professionals to play and compete and that attracted lots of people to buy US Open Tennis Tickets. That year 96 men and 63 women entered the event with prize money amounting to $100,000. In 1978, the event moved from Forest Hills to its current home at Flushing Meadows. The main court in the US Open Tennis is located in the 23,000-seat Arthur Ashe Stadium, named after Arthur Ashe, the great African American tennis player who won the inaugural U.S. Open in 1968 at that time lots of US Open Tennis Tickets were sold. The surfaces of all its courts are hard, so the U.S. Open always provides US Open Tennis at a very high speed. The US Open Tennis has survive for more than 120 years, but there have been many vary over that time that have shaped the US Open Tennis tournament into the modern Grand Slam that it is today. The very first competition was held at in Newport at the Newport Casino, under the title of the US National Singles Championship. Entry was restricted to only those clubs which were members of the United States National Lawn Tennis Association, and the competitors were all male, competing in both singles and doubles. The very first Men's champion was Richard D. Sears, who went on to rule the event for the next six years in the US Open Tennis.
In 1887, the first US Women's National Singles Championship was held at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in the US Open Tennis, and was won by Ellen Hansell. It wasn't until two years later that a Women's Doubles was well-known, and another three before a Mixed Doubles was held US Open Tennis. After seven years at Newport, the Championships started to move around the country, with nine different sites hosting the event at least once in the US Open Tennis. At the start of the 20th century, the Men's Doubles was tearing into an East and West competition, the winners of which played-off  the US Open Tennis for the right to get on the holders. This challenge round of the US Open Tennis was abolished in 1920, and the make unconscious system that we know today was employed. The introduction of the US Open Tennis era in 1968 created the modern event as we know it today. The five different competitions were merged into one US Open Tennis Championships, held at the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, Queens, New York. The prize money on bid totalled $100,000, and was public appropriately between the 96 men and 63 women who entered. In 1970, the US Open Tennis was the first tennis tournament in the Open Tennis Tournament US to introduce the tie-breaker system, after F.D. Robbins needed 100 games to defeat Dick Dell. By 1978, the tournament stirred to its current home at the hard courts of the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadow, New York at the Open Tennis Tournament US.

The late 70's and early 80's were a golden age for the Americans in the Open Tennis Tournament US, with home favorites John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors winning seven successive titles between them. The women's game of the Open Tennis Tournament US was conquered by Billie Jean King in the US Open Tennis , Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova who have won fourteen titles between them over two decades. A new breed took over their layer in the 90's, with the appearance of more American talent after a period of success by Europeans. Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi had many famous duals on the courts, and Monica Seles, Lindsay Davenport and the Williams sisters taking titles in the Ladies event. The US Open Tennis is always developing, and the new century is sure to see new changes and many new stars grace the famous competition courts in the US Open Tennis .
